How do you sum up a life with someone who was your husband,bestfriend,confidante,protector,comforter, supporter, father to our daughter and so much more? How do you measure a life which has altered yours forever? How do you measure a loss which has irrevocably changed you forever? I was blessed to have Eddie in my life for over thirty years and I was married to him for twenty-seven of those years. Since it is so difficult to easily capture who Eddie was, this will be ongoing.I will start with a simple list of some of the qualities that I knew and loved about Eddie. Eddie ironically called himself The Great Eduardo even though he was extremely humble. He was unique. He had a great sense of fun,was playful and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was creative, a dreamer, and had the soul of an artist. He was eclectic-something we shared He was intelligent,inquisitive and insightful. He was extremely knowledgeable about music,sports and politics and these were his passions. He was so COOL-in many ways He was loving, compassionate and giving. He served others-in our church, in our families He was fiercely loyal and devoted to his family and to mine. He was an extremely proud dad. He was a caregiver and was always ready to serve others. He was a man of great inner strength. He was an animal lover and was especially devoted to our pets. He was a man of faith-a good man.
